Back to the main inspiration of aviation, nature’s flying machines... Analysing wings, their construction, layering, properties... This provided the inspiration to explore old and new pleating techniques. Resulting in a constructive fold, which gives strength to a flat surface by pleating in two directions. This technique is implemented in an expandable bag, created from one sheet material.
