My approach to design

Most of my projects start with observations and questions around ordinary human behavior and emotion towards our (designed) environment. My strength, quality and passion lies in understanding the interaction between a product and its user, from a practical and emotional point of view. I peel down to the essence of a product, expose design opportunities, and create charming, understandable, easy to use products. I believe this approach is applicable to many creative design processes, and leads to innovation.

This short presentation tells the story of my approach to design.
I truly believe in the value of untangeling the fuzzy-front end. Through this process you can envision what the product could and should be. It leads to a better understanding of the product that you are about to design and the people you are designing it for.
